詩人濟慈因病沒能和未婚妻芬妮幸福終老，濟慈死後芬妮為他穿了好幾年黑衣，很久後才振作起來，乃至她結婚後還戴著當年濟慈給她的訂婚戒指。
這對小情侶也挺慘的，濟慈給芬妮寫的數十封情書語句都超美，最後還是沒能一起終老。
