It's default that a very high-DPI displays might make screen\control icon elements very small, and some text\icon may become difficult to read\use. As mentioned in this thread, many users found out that workground is setting dpi down to 185% to solve size issue. We will wait and see whether MS can release an update\hotfix for this issue, so please keep Windows up-to-date.
Regarding to manually change the size of address and search box, we can put the cursor between address bar and search bar, then drag the cursor, but we can only change the length of the box, not the width.
